Our Rump Roast come in one per package approximately 2.5 lbs roasts.
The Rump Roast is a lean, economical cut that is best enjoyed braised to seal in the flavor. This lean cut works best when roasting or slow-cooking or on a smoker BBQ is our favorite way of cooking one. When cooked let rest for 10 min., then slice thin and against the grain to maximize tenderness.
The Rump Roast comes from the Round area which is the area that houses the rump and hind legs. Cuts from this region tend to be leaner and less tender because they are used primarily for movement therefore are more muscular.
